José Luiz Schiavoni
Graduated from the School of Communications and Arts of University of São Paulo (ECA/USP), José Luiz Schiavoni is a journalist and started his career at Somtrês magazine. Later on, he became a member of the team that created the IT section of Folha de S.Paulo newspaper in the 80’s. He has worked as a reporter, assistant director and editor for several publications. In 1989, he left his function of editor in chief at DataNews/ComputerWorld magazine to establish S2 Comunicação Integrada.
Schiavoni has actively participated in the creation of the Brazilian Association of Communication Agencies (Abracom – www.abracom.org.br) and was the entity’s president from 2004 to 2008. He is specialized in crisis management projects and executive training and enabling programs.

Graduated in Journalism from Fluminense Federal University and in Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Aldo De Luca has worked in the corporate communication and journalistic areas (O Globo) before founding Publicom, in 1988. At S2Publicom, he develops strategies and implements projects for the company’s domestic and international clients. Aldo is a founding member of Ronald McDonald House and participates in its Board of Trustees, as well as in the Executive Committee of Ronald McDonald Institute.

Luciana Gurgel
Graduated in Journalism from Fluminense Federal University, Luciana has worked in the corporate communication and journalistic areas (O Globo) before founding Publicom, in 1988. For the last 20 years, she has developed projects in several communication areas and structured Rede Publicom de Comunicação Empresarial (“Publicom’s Network of Corporate Communication”). Ronaldo de Souza
Professional journalist, Ronaldo started his career in 1979 at Jornal do Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro. In 1982, he moved to São Paulo to work for the political, economy and sports sections of O Estado de S. Paulo and Folha de S. Paulo newspapers. He was an assistant editor or DataNews/Computerworld newspaper and editor of PC Mundo magazine (current PC World). In 1989, he established S2 Comunicação and specialized in strategic planning. He attended the Lato Sensu specialization course on Communication Management at School of Communications and Arts of University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) and the Continued Education in Management for Communication Companies at Dom Cabral Foundation. He is one of the founders of the Brazilian Association of Communication Agencies (Abracom – www.abracom.org.br) aand member of its Advisory Board.

Adriana Baggio
Graduated in Journalism from Casper Líbero College (São Paulo), Adriana started her career 20 years ago as a reporter at the head office of Diário Comércio e Industria (DCI) newspaper, in São Paulo, and also in its branch in Rio de Janeiro. She has also worked as a press advisor for Bolsa de Cereais de SP. She joined Publicom in 1995 and, since then, has developed projects for clients operating in diverse segments, among which, Construction, Entertainment, Travel, Health, Food and Beverages, Sports, Advertising and Infrastructure. She was the manager of the core group that served Club Med, UCI Multiplexes, SC Johnson, Novartis, Outback Steakhouse, Cervejarias Cintra, Starbucks, and A1GP. Adriana has actively participated in the introduction of important brands in Brazil, such as Outback, Starbucks, and Gerber. She also works as a crisis consultant and supports clients in events. She manages S2Publicom’s office in Rio de Janeiro.

Alessandra Ritondaro
Graduated in Public Relations from FAAP and with postgraduate degree in Marketing from ESPM, Alessandra has been working in the Corporate Communication area for 19 years. She has already worked for domestic and international companies such as H.Stern, Scania, and Avon Cosméticos. She is experienced in the planning and coordination of public relation projects, internal communications, corporate social responsibility, management of special situations, event organization and client services. She joined Publicom in 2003 and has already developed and coordinated projects for a number of clients, among which McDonald’s, HP, Petrobras, Syngenta, and Avon.

Claudia Góes
Claudia Góes, executive director at S2Publicom, is graduated in Journalism from the Catholic University of Santos, has her MBA in Corporate Management from Getúlio Vargas Foundation and attended postgraduate studies at the Superior School of Advertising and Marketing. In her professional career, Claudia has worked at In Press Porter Novelli and ADS Assessoria, where she managed and coordinated communication advisory activities for Warner Bros., International Paper do Brasil, Land Rover, Jaguar, Penalty, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Fabrimar, Companhia Siderurgica Belgo-Mineira, and TIM, among others. She has also worked as a freelancer reporter for Veja and Você S.A. magazines and Dinheiro Vivo. Claudia has been working at S2 Comunicação since 2005 and is responsible for the executive management of clients such as HTC, Vocollect, and Diveo, among others.

Margareth Boarini
Margareth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is graduated in Journalism from PUC-SP, with postgraduate studies in Business Communication from Cásper Líbero College and University of Florida. In the press at large, Margareth worked as a reporter and editor of the Business area at Folha de S. Paulo newspaper and as a collaborator of O Estado de S. Paulo and Valor Econômico newspapers, among others. In the corporate communication area, she worked in the press coordination at Grupo Pão de Açúcar, with direct contact with its President; at Fiat Automóveis; McDonald’s and Chase Manhattan Bank (currently JPMorgan). Margareth is experienced in preventing risks and managing crises from the conception and establishing of plans to the active participation in the management of already established crises in all companies she has worked for, including The Jeffrey Group agency, to which she has already provided services. Margareth participates in crises committees, spokespeople specialty training programs and in the post-crisis follow-up. Among some types of crises she has already managed, highlights are: restoring of the credibility of personal and corporate image, robberies with hostages, labor issues, CPIs (“Parliamentary Inquiry Commissions”), companies’ privatization, bomb detonation, rumors and blackmailing to companies. Today, Margareth is S2Publicom’s director and responsible for the Alphaville office and for serving Arcos Dourados/McDonald’s in Brazil and abroad.

Priscila Rocha
Graduated in Journalism, Priscila Rocha started her career as a reporter and editor of trade newspapers and advertising projects related to the launch of women’s publications. In her professional trajectory, she has specialized in information technology and served as Compugraf Tecnologia e Sistemas’ communication manager during the period the company was the technological arm of Excel Group. Working at S2 since 1997, she has been involved in projects for companies such as Microsoft, MSN, Symantec, Transit, Diveo, Axialent, everis, Spinelli, ABN/Real Amro Bank, Internet Managing Committee, GVT, ISS, Siemens, and Canon, among others. She has been S2’s executive director for three years and today, she is the director of S2Publicom’s New Businesses area.

Ricardo Franzin
Majored in Social Communication from Anhembi Morumbi University and in journalism from ITESM – Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Ricardo has more than 11 years of experience in Corporate Communication. His expertise encompasses such areas as key message development, media relations, media training, executive visibility, corporate positioning, events management and crisis management communication. Prior to joining S2Publicom, Ricardo has worked in companies such as A4 Comunicação and Persona Consultancy supporting customers in the areas of beverage, consumer, sports, entertainment, culture and fashion. He has participated in press advisory service projects for Grupo Schincariol, Parmalat, C&A, Calçados Azaléia, Pólo Moda Shopping, Pão de Açúcar and Dupon®. Rubens S. Meyer
Rubens S. Meyer is graduated in Journalism from the School of Communications and Arts of USP. For more than 15 years, he has worked as director, editor in chief, executive director, editor, reporter and production coordinator in TV stations (Cultura, Band, Record, Manchete, and Gazeta), as well as in independent production agencies. Rubens has specialized in Information Technology since the creation of the first BBS and websites, in 1995. Since then, he has participated in the creation and implementation of an Internet provider, in addition to several other portal, websites, intranets, extranets, e-commerce and digital marketing projects. He has also worked with live and on demand audio and video broadcasts (webcasts, on-line radios and TVs, podcasts) for organizations such as Microsoft, Accenture, Alcantara Machado, Nielsen Business Media, CUT, and ABES. Rubens is the director of S2Publicom’s Digital Communication division, with certification in Windows Media Service Provider for his competence in the development of multimedia solutions for the web.
